I had a really fabulous blog post planned for y’all today (okay, you got me – it was just your average run-of-the-mill blog post, but whatever), but the weather had other plans. See, Mother Nature thought it would be fun yesterday afternoon to send a bunch of ginormous hailstones through my kitchen windows. It was a total glass explosion. There I was, standing at the kitchen counter, when the window shattered! I didn’t get a warning thump to let me know it was hailing first (lame). Anyhow, my time today is pretty devoted to that, so no fabulousness from me.
BUT!
I have someone else’s fabulousness to share, so it’s all good.
Bad Taste in Boys by Carrie Harrie has a cover!!! And it is AMAZING. I love it so much – I would definitely pick this up just based on the cover (though I already wanted to read it before the cover). I can’t wait to have one on my shelf at home.
Behold, Bad Taste in Boys:
Amazing, right? Now head on over to Carrie’s blog and SQUEE! with her.

Eek, sorry about the hailstorm. I will think of you every time it storms now and rail at my kids to get away from the windows! Are you okay? Did you get cut at all?
I’ve seen that cover a couple places today, it IS gorgeous!
We are all okay over here. Luckily I was far enough from the window that I didn’t get hit by any glass. I got out of the room pretty quick! By the time it was done, our kitchen looked like a war zone. But we got it all cleaned up and things are fine now. Looking at the damage around town today, I realized that we were actually pretty lucky. Some people got hit way worse than we did!
I thought I knew what Carrie’s book is about . . . I might have it confused. I’m going to go double-check now because that cover definitely says one thing and not another, but I agree – GORGEOUS and eerie.
Also, good luck with the window! Nothing like that has ever happened to me, so, you know, I am now prepared for the unexpected.
Aw! Thanks for squeeing with me! I am now sending you thank-you vibes combined with no-more-hail vibes.
Thanks! I could definitely use anti-hail vibes.
I am still just so thrilled about your cover. I had to show all my coworkers and my husband. They might all think I am crazy now, but whatever.
