Weronika’s challenge officially starts today! I have been doing my page-a-day since the beginning of the month, but now I have others doing it alongside me in the official challenge.
The idea of the challenge is to have a very doable goal every day. A goal of one page – no more, no less – is one that we all can tackle (some days I will write more, but it will not be my goal to do so). The point is to do it every day. And, for me at least, to not get upset on days where I don’t write a lot. A page is a solid bit of writing for one day.
More than forty writers signed up to participate in Weronika’s challenge. We will be using the twitter hashtag #padc to track our progress, and Weronika will keep a list of the bloggers who are participating here. Personally, I will be updating my progress each day at the end of this post.
And so we begin Day One. Wish me luck!
ETA (6/2/2010): Yeah…so I am bad at updating, aren’t I. Page-a-Day Challenge is going okay. I am squeaking by every day. Life got really, really hectic right when this started, but I can still manage a measly page each day!

Good luck, Rachel, from a fellow Rachele! I’m doing the page a day challenge too!
Have fun! ( I would say good luck, but you didn’t seem to like that last time, so I’m just sticking with this.)
It’s not that I don’t like people saying good luck – you can say it all you want. It’s just that I don’t need luck to do this. It is in my control, and I am not gonna sit around waiting for luck to make it happen.
So I won’t say good luck, I’ll say… break a leg? No… that’s for actors who need their legs to flounce around stage… I’ll say… break a hand! (That sounds terrible, ha ha). Seriously though, I hope the challenge is productive and fun.
Hey thanks! It sounds gruesome, but I would love to be so productive I actually break a hand!
BTW, I’m having a contest on my blog if you wouldn’t mind adding it to your ABC page!

I saw that! I will definitely add it to my page for you. So fun!
Thank you!
